Group Project: Fashion

Research theme/topic  Fashion is constantly growing changing and evolving.  It never stops there is always new trends and new styles to be seen. Fashion is an expression it lets people express who they are and what inspires them.  Fashion can help people be who they want to be their style of clothing can describe who they are without the use of words. What we would like to do with our theme of fashion is to hopefully make a website with either pictures or videos of people on the streets of Dublin and ask them about their own personal style and what influences it. Vogue does interviews with celebrities called 73 Questions with Vogue , they are really interesting to watch because the interview isn’t just done in front of a plain white background, the interviewee is always moving while answering the questions. Website - Where we will talk what the website is about, all the research we done for this project and the interviews questions where we asked different people about their style.  2.  Photography  -  Taking pictures of people's outfit, showing that everyone has different style in clothing.Showing that everyone has a different type when it comes to clothes and it can show people their personality. 3. Research Mediums - Our proposed mediums are street photography, website and magazine.  Our theme is the evolution of fashion so we plan on conducting street interviews and street photography where we talk to people on the street about where they get their fashion inspiration and how their personal style has evolved over the years. We also plan on photographing each person’s style and putting their photos up on our website. To display our street photography and interviews we’re going to display them on our website which we’ve already made a mock up of. We thought a website would be a good way of displaying our work as it’s accessible to everyone and looks more professional. Our other medium is a magazine.
