Research
Our theme is the evolution of fashion so we plan on conducting street interviews and street photography where we talk to people on the street about where they get their fashion inspiration and how their personal style has evolved over the years. We also plan on photographing each person’s style and putting their photos up on our website.
To display our street photography and interviews we’re going to display them on our website which we’ve already made a mock up of. We thought a website would be a good way of displaying our work as it’s accessible to everyone and looks more professional.
Our other medium is a magazine. In the magazine we thought we could show off our street photography in a more glamorous way. A magazine is also a physical medium which could be more interactive for our audience.
Style & genre - Our style is street style as the majority of our project will be carried out on the streets as we interview people and have street photography shoots. Our genre is the evolution of fashion so we’re going to explore how fashion has changed through the years, the trends of each decade from the 60’s and how fashion influences people.
