Logo designs 22/02/2020

As I've undertaken the role of the designer I've been creating and designing logos for our group project and brand Fashion Inc. Many logo designs are trial and error so over the past few months I've been experimenting with new logos and creating logos designed by my colleagues. Taking advice from our supervisor Mark we aimed to create a minimalistic yet modern logo that indicates this is a fashion website.

Below are some of the more recent logos I created using Adobe Illustrator.






From this we're looking and trying to decide on a final logo to display on our project book and website.

Location matching

I did the research into the different areas would work well and match with the person we had inline to interview. For the twins we knew their style was very on trend but also had a sense of sophistication to it. The spot that was perfect for them was Stephens green the landscape would complement their personal style. The girls sense of style was a great match for Stephens green as they tend to spend a lot of their free time around the Stephens green area shopping and keeping an eye on the new trends For Alvin we knew we wanted to interview him in temple bar our original idea to interview him in central temple bar didn’t go to plan so I came up with the idea of shooting in love lane luckily there was no one there at the time so it was quite and perfect to shoot in. Editing pictures

I've edited all 22 pictures that were taken of each subject at the interviews we conducted in Temple Bar, Stephen's Green, Love Lane and Blanchardstown Skate Park. I firstly adjusted the tone and enhanced each image. I then altered the light balance of each image to brighten some of them up as they appeared darker and also creating a lower light balance for others who's white balance was off. I also increased the colour and tones within the images and added a small degree of vignette to create a very slight clouded effect around the edges. Finally I edited and fixed any red eyes and spot fixtures. Below are some examples of the edited images.
